New floors

Cody and I have been looking at different things to redo the living room, kitchen, entry way, and laundry room floors. We've been talking about doing this for over a year now. We were going to do it last year, but opted for the fence instead. We looked a little last year, but since we decided this would be this year's big project we have spent the last few weekends really looking. We have made a decision. Laminate hardwood floors in the living room and ceramic tile in the other areas. Now I have to look for a rug, too bad I suck at decorating :)

The tile is called Canyon Slate. I love the earthiness, but also that it has just enough color to not feel like we live in a world of brown.

I will be glad when the 12 year old linoleum that is so hard to get clean and shows everything will not be there anymore :)
